New Microsoft Surface Headphones

New Microsoft Surface Headphones launched with the smarter way to listen. Surround yourself with adjustable active noise cancellation, on-ear touch controls, and an optimized ear cup design — engineered for rich, clear acoustics. Whether you’re in the office, on a train or in the air, listen to your playlist or take calls in comfort all day with the New Microsoft Surface Headphones.

What it provides:

  • Hear crisp, clear audio. Omnisonic Audio wraps you in your favorite music, shows, and more.
  • Lightweight, breathable, and a comfortable size you can wear for a full day of travel or at the office.
  • Your built-in assistant can do it for you. Just ask Microsoft Cortana to play your favorite artist, set a reminder, make a call, get answers to questions, and more.
  • Use your voice and simple, intuitive controls to adjust the volume, skip tracks, mute your mic, or hang up calls. Audio pauses when you take your headphones off.
  • Keep it quiet with active noise cancellation you can adjust with an easy on-ear dial. Or, turn it all the way down to better hear conversations without removing headphones.

On-ear dials and Cortana::

The all New Microsoft Surface Headphones are comfortable to wear, sound good, have touch controls and on-ear dials that allow you to adjust the level of noise canceling and volume. One of the Headphones’ key features is an integrated dial in each ear cup. You turn the ring on the right ear cup to adjust volume and the one on the left to adjust the amount of noise canceling you want. The dial turns smoothly with 13 levels or “points” of noise canceling. The always-on Cortana feature allows you to use voice commands without pressing a button first. They works well for making calls, noise canceling is effective and there’s USB-C charging. Sound could be better for the price, and battery life doesn’t measure up to that of competing models. Cortana isn’t as good as Alexa and Google Assistant.

Touch Controls::

The touch area in the ear-cups of the New Microsoft Surface Headphones allow you to pause and play your music, answer and end calls with a tap, and skip tracks forward (two taps) and back (three taps). It’s also worth mentioning that when you take the headphones off, your music automatically pauses and resumes playing when you put the headphones back on.

The New Microsoft Surface Headphones don’t quite match the quality of Bose and Sony noise-canceling headphones, but they’re a strong freshman effort with some compelling feature and design elements with the introduction of touch controls and on-ear dials.
