Mega Leak Reveals Samsung’s Upcoming Wearables
After an update to the Galaxy Wearable app for Android gave us an early look at Samsung’s upcoming wearables. These new product details were to be unveiled next week with the Galaxy S10 at an event in San Francisco. Previously known as Samsung Gear on Android, Samsung Galaxy Wearable app displayed a number of new products on the main page.
The mega leak from Galaxy Wearable app for Android inadvertently displayed several unreleased products, including the Galaxy Watch Active, the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e, and Galaxy Buds, Samsung’s upcoming truly wireless earbuds.
First on the list is Galaxy Watch Active which has a 40mm case, according to the app, and comes in at least two colors. Next is the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e, two fitness bands with watch-style rubber straps. Finally, it unveiled the already teased Galaxy Buds which are said to be able to charge wirelessly from the Galaxy S10 itself.
Within the mega leak, three new, previously unseen Samsung wearable devices appeared in Samsung’s own Galaxy Wearables app. The devices include a new smartwatch, fitness tracker, and wireless earbuds. The devices are likely to be fully announced alongside the upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone during Samsung’s February 20 Unpacked event.
