Casio Pro Trek WSD F30 is all set to get launched at January 2019 with choice of 3 modes to suit your activity. The Casio WSD F30 looks to do a lot of what made the last two generations of adventure watches great with improved battery life & impressive mapping tech but is still very thick and expensive.
One can use the monochrome and color displays separately to maintain superior visibility in any environment. The resulting efficient power management also contributes to battery saving. Extend Mode allows a battery life span of 3 days and 2 nights. Whereas the battery life can be extended to 1 month with the Multi-Timepiece Mode.
The WSD-F30 features a new and improved dual-layer monochrome and color display. The new color display employs an organic EL display that shows maps and data in finer detail. The layout of the monochrome display now shows more than just the time; it also displays atmospheric pressure/altitude and compass bearing, as befits the PRO TREK outdoor gear brand. This feature provides useful information for outdoor activities at a glance while conserving energy.
Design & Tech
With a compact design miniaturisation of internal parts has made substantial downsizing possible while maintaining superior operability. The new Casio Pro Trek WSD F30’s perfect fit on slim wrists widens its appeal to include women, and its remarkable wearing comfort makes it ideal for use over extended periods. Visibility has also been enhanced, moreover, by adopting a high-clarity OLED display.
Military Standard compliance has been said to be used in the Casio Pro Trek WSD F30. The Casio Pro Trek WSD F30 conforms to the MIL-STD-810G standard for durability established by the U.S. Department of Defence. CASIO has confirmed that it operates properly in widely varied environments, meeting users’ toughest outdoor needs.
